Best Practices at HUD
Citizant's data architecture work and other efforts at the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) were recognized as best practices by the Office of Management and Budget and were featured at MIT’s International Conference on Information Quality. Our work was also recognized by the FEAC Institute and 1105 Media Group with the Leadership in Enterprise Architecture (LEAD) “Federal Best Practice" award.
DOI Work wins Wilshire Award for Metadata Best Practices
Citizant helped developed and pilot the Department of the Interior’s (DIO) Authoritative Data Source (ADS) strategy and develop a formal enterprise data quality program. DOI’s accomplishments, including the instrumental work done by Citizant's Adel Harris and her team, were recognized with the prestigious 2008 Wilshire Award for Metadata Best Practices from DAMA International. This was the first time a government agency of any kind was chosen to win the Wilshire Award.
Beverly Hacker Chosen for EA Hall of Fame
Citizant's principal enterprise Architect, Beverly Hacker, was one of two inaugural inductees into the EA Hall of Fame during the 2008 Federal EA Conference & Exhibition in Washington, D.C. (Sept. 9, 2008)
