Cairo Corporation’s internal development processes were rated at
Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI) Level 2 by an
independently led appraisal team using the Software Engineering
Institute (SEI) SCAMPI A appraisal method. This achievement is another
milestone in Cairo’s efforts to enhance its development processes and
customer-focused quality delivery. Maturity Level 2 processes provide a
firm foundation for the repeatable and predictable execution of
projects.
Cairo’s commitment to customer satisfaction and continuous process
improvement was first confirmed by its ISO 9001:2000 certification in
August 2003, the first of many steps the Company has taken towards the
enhancements of its Corporate Quality Initiatives.
"We are committed to maintaining the highest standards of project
management and ensuring a positive return on our Customer’s
investments," said Alba M. Alemán, President of Cairo Corporation. "We
believe that our customers will benefit significantly from decreased
project costs, increased schedule predictability, and improved product
quality that SEI Maturity Level 2 processes will provide us."
