Citizant Hires Collette Dziemian to Sharpen Focus on Quality Programs

Process Expert Dziemian to Lead Company’s CMMI Level 3 Appraisal Effort

CHANTILLY, Va., March 26, 2008 —Citizant, one of the Washington region’s fastest-growing providers of government professional technical solutions, today announced that Collette Dziemian has joined the company as Director of Quality Programs. In this role, Dziemian will lead all of Citizant’s quality initiatives, including the company’s Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI) Maturity Level 3 (ML3) appraisal effort.

“To preserve our competitive market niche and consistently exceed our customer expectations, Citizant will continue to improve its software development and program management processes,” said Alba M. Alemán, president of Citizant. “Pursuing our CMMI ML3 appraisal is one of our key corporate initiatives in 2008. We are pleased to have someone with Collette’s experience and track record spearheading this initiative.”

Dziemian joins Citizant from Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC) where she spent nearly a decade assisting internal units and customers to achieve improved quality. Most notably she worked with more than a dozen organizations to implement and be appraised against the Software Engineering Institute’s (SEI) CMMI at Maturity Levels 2 through 5.

Dziemian has extensive experience and accreditations in quality and process improvement. She is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and certified in IT Service Management based on the Information Technology Information Library (ITIL).

“I am excited to join the Citizant team and help further the company’s longstanding dedication to quality,” said Dziemian. “As an Army daughter and wife, I share Citizant’s mission to create a better future for the citizen. I embrace my charge to ensure an integrated, effective, and efficient corporate approach to quality is established; enabling our outstanding personnel in delivering excellence to our customers.”

Citizant invests heavily in the systems and processes needed to achieve success now and in the future. The company’s mature infrastructure is reflected by ISO 9001:2000 certification and its independent appraisal at SEI CMMI Maturity Level 2.

Currently, dozens of Citizant’s professionals who work on projects with the U.S. Navy, U.S. Transportation Command, and the Departments of Defense and Housing and Urban Development are integrating new process models created during the company’s CMMI ML3 effort into the daily flow of their program work.
