Cairo Is Helping HUD Improve Information Quality
Manassas, Va., July 25, 2002 - Cairo Corporation announced today that it has been
awarded a competitive, one-year $1,499,270 contract with a one-year option and a not-to-exceed total
order quantity of $3,264,980 through the General Services Administration (GSA) Federal Supply Schedule
contract vehicle. This contract is to assist the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD)
Office of the Chief Information Officer in its development and implementation of an Enterprise-wide
Information Quality Practice. In supporting HUD's Enterprise Information Quality Practice, the Cairo
team will assist HUD in meeting its goal of standardization and quality improvement of data in HUD
information systems. The contract award expands Cairo's Information Quality line of business, a
targeted growth area.
